Is it a subscription?
Yes — an annual subscription of $9.99/year (regularly $49.99/year), which keeps every feature and every future update coming. No per-feature unlocks, no ads. You can cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
What happens after the free month?
The trial gives you the complete app for one month. If you keep it, the subscription begins at the $9.99/year relaunch price. Cancel before the month is up and you're not charged. Your athletes, groups, and timing history stay on your device either way.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Timing runs entirely on your iPhone — pool decks and back-country trails included. You only need a connection for the App Store itself and for sharing exports wherever you send them.
Which devices does it run on?
Herotime is built for the iPhone and current iOS. The physical volume button works as the timing button — a patented part of the method — so it handles like a real stopwatch.
I bought Herotime years ago. Is my purchase honored?
We aim to treat early supporters right through the relaunch. If anything looks wrong with a previous purchase, contact us and we'll sort it out personally.
How do I get my times out?
Every session exports as clean CSV through the iOS Share Sheet — AirDrop it, mail it, or save it to Files. It opens straight in Excel or any spreadsheet.
